The Old Story

This is a personal project about ancient myths and stories.

I created these works in 2024. The first time I drew this theme was in 2020 during the lockdown. These beautiful utopian scenes soothed my heart at that time. In the past 3 years, I've found an inner tranquility in a world of noise and anxiety.

I reflect the joyful peace I felt in the colors and stories in these works and move on to new exciting uncertainties.

Concept and Color

I chose images containing mythological stories and metaphors, reinterpreting them with vector graphic style and modern colors to convey new emotions.
The bright red reflects the feeling of passionate love, while purple, orange, and light pink convey gentle experiences and a calming state of mind.

The Old Story

Every old story begins the same way: the protagonists are immersed in the thrill of anticipating the unknown.

The End of the Story

At the end of the story, the illusions fade away and we see reality clearly: beneath the beautiful exterior, there may only be narcissism.
