This is the first year I've taken part in the Instagram art challenges in October. I took this chance to explore creating based on mixed prompts in a short time. Here are the Halloween theme illustrations from the challenges.

Garden Lantern + Bats + Bows
I wanted to create something more unexpected by mixing common holiday elements. I got this concept by putting “bat bow” and “garden lantern bow” and “garden lantern bat” in Pinterest and and found some bat lamps and bat bows. Then I combined them together and add other more general elements like flowers, stars and wavy shapes.
Sweet Treat + Bones + Bow + Party
This is an illustration created for the #Sweet&Scary theme, where I used cute neon colors to balance out the dark elements of the blood cake.
