Portraits 2024

Over the past 2 years, I have been developing my style through creating portrait illustrations: incorporating regular or vector shapes into the compositions, making the images more dynamic through the treatment of light and shadow, and using decorative elements to reflect the subjects' spirit and personality while adding interest.

Fencing Girl

This work was created during the Olympics, using black and white checkered patterns to showcase the sharpness, decisiveness, and wisdom required in fencing, while the flying fragments in the background express a sense of sharpness.

The Witch

This work was created during Halloween month. I wanted to interpret the theme of "witch" with a mysterious style. A woman with a calm expression sits among quiet lilac bushes, with the sound of nighttime waves in the distance, as if inspiring you to discover long-hidden secrets.

An Afro portrait with a natural landscape background and modern gradient colors. The composition was inspired by the Mona Lisa.

Red Dots

I don't draw men's faces often, so I gave it a try here. I used geometric shapes on the faces and tilted red dots in the background to add some fun to this image.
